Use Month View

The Month View shows a whole month of work on one calendar, so you can see how busy each week is, move between months, and keep an eye on anything that still has no date. Day, Week, Month and List sit above the calendar; Month is the widest of the four.

Filtering the Schedule

Filtering narrows the calendar to the people and the kind of work you want to see. You can filter by employee and by whether you want tickets, inspections or both.

3

Open the Filter

Click Filter at the top right, above the calendar.

4

Choose what to show

Tick Unassigned to include work that has nobody on it yet. The three groups of names — Location-Based, Staff/Support and Office-Based — are your employees sorted by the type on their employee record, not by where they work; tick the people you want to see, and use All / None beside a heading to select or clear a whole group. On the right, Tickets and Inspections switch each kind of work on or off, and the dropdown beside each narrows it further: for tickets, the category — janitorial, carpet and so on, plus any category you have added yourself; for inspections, standard or internal. The dropdown below them chooses open or closed work, and starts on All.

The Filter dialog. Unassigned covers work with nobody assigned to it; the three groups are employee types.

5

Apply the filter

Click Apply to put your selections in place. Cancel only backs out while the dialog is still open — once a filter has been applied, the way to change it is to open Filter again, make new selections and click Apply.

Work With No Date

Down the right of the calendar is No Schedule Date — tickets and inspections that have not been given a day yet. Some of them already have a time; what they are missing is the date. That is a separate thing from whether an employee has been put on the work: an entry marked NA has nobody assigned to it, and an entry can be marked NA whether it sits on the calendar or in this panel.

6

See what has no date

Click the arrow beside No Schedule Date on the right of the calendar. The number beside the heading is how many items are waiting, and each card shows the customer, the building and the work, with a time where one has been set.

7

Give an item a date

Drag a card out of the panel and drop it on a day in the calendar. It leaves the panel and appears on that day.

The Month View is the wide view — a month at a time, narrowed to the people and the work you care about, with anything still lacking a date sitting alongside it.

FAQ

Can I see more than one month at a time?

No. The Month View shows one month; use the arrows either side of the month label to move between them.

What do the colors on the calendar mean?

The bar down the left of an entry tells you the kind of work: green for a ticket, orange for an inspection. The entry itself takes the color of the employee assigned to it, when that employee has a color set; if they do not, it stays green or orange. Where more than one employee is on the job and they have different colors, it stays green or orange and carries a multicolor icon. Color never shows status — a completed ticket or inspection is marked with a check mark.

Can I filter by more than one person at once?

Yes. Tick as many names as you like across the three groups and use All / None beside a heading to select or clear a whole group at once.

How do I change a filter I have already applied?

Open Filter again, make your new selections and click Apply. Cancel only backs out of changes while the dialog is still open.

Where can I see more about a job on the calendar?

Click the entry. A window opens with more about that ticket or inspection, and from there you can go through to the ticket or inspection itself.

What is an internal inspection?

An inspection you want to keep in house rather than share with the customer. The Inspections dropdown in the Filter lets you show standard inspections, internal ones, or both.

Can I put a scheduled job back into the No Schedule Date panel?

Yes. Drag it from the calendar onto the panel and it is unscheduled.
